ABOUT US

10 MINUTES TO CHANGE A LIFE

Grace and Peace to You! Welcome to Hope On The Horizon. My name is Suzanne.  This podcast which was created to remind us to find, and expand our understanding and boundaries of HOPE was a seed planted in my heart in July 2021, on a trip through Washington DC, when Holy Spirit spoke to my heart to start a podcast – which would be like a 10 minute “drive time” to encourage, edify and equip His body. He ministered to start it after Feast of Tabernacles. Thus – my official podcast  has been born this September 29th, 2021!!

After much prayer – the Lord gave me the name for this podcast.  I heard in my spirit – HOPE on the Horizon.  Thankfully there wasn’t a podcast with this name (there are some variations but not just these 4 words). So of course I had to see what the words meant…after all I am a WORD NERD!! It is awesome!

Click below to read more…. but before you go remember to bookmark this page or follow on Anchor or Spotify to hear the 10 minute podcast.  Weekly we will join together to discover, declare and then decree HOPE. Amidst this life of tribulation – hardship, distress, pressure, troubles – we will watch perseverence and character reveal true HOPE that only comes from God.

DEEP CALLS TO DEEP

Amidst tribulation and suffering – we find ourselves seeking either the world or God.  His Word is full of deep wisdom, knowledge, mysteries to seek out and to find HOPE.

I love God’s Word.  But I am not a theologian, Bible Scholar nor did I got to Bible School.  But I am grateful for all those who are.  Here are some of my favorite teachers, theologians, pastors and more….

Together – we can dig deeper with authorities who know more than I will ever know!  If I am missing someone – send me a comment so I can check them out!

Remember – we are ALL called to be like the Bereans and TEST EVERYTHING!!

These are some of my favorite “go to” resources…

Inspiring HOPE…

<< SCRIPTURES >>

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Romans 15:13

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer Romans 12:2

For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience. Romans 8:24-25

“There are three virtues in the Christian life that every one of us needs: faith, hope and love; and the most neglected of these three is HOPE.  The greatest of these is love, but the most neglected is hope. And the reason why it is neglected is this: this book, Revelation, of all the books in the Bible is given to you to develop your hope, which is that faculty we have for grasping his future and saying the future beloes to Jesus, not to anyone else.” David Pawson – A Commentary on the Book of Revelation

GIVING

I am not at formal ministry.  I am simply walking with the Lord.  In such – I cannot ask anyone to “give” me money because I trust the Lord for provision for this site and for our personal needs.  But what I can do is offer an in-kind gift.  I LOVE words if you haven’t figured that out.  And I LOVE word art.  I love Hebrew Word art even more….
