– A Woman of God
I am a wife, mother, homeschool teacher…. and whatever and however God chooses to use me on any given day. I am a chauffeur, cook, cleaner, ponderer…. I have walked intimately with the Lord since 2003. I have been born again and began a relationship with the Lord in 1998. My testimony is long and winding and is truly by the Grace of God. Sometimes, you might hear a tad about it as I talk – but for the most part all you need to know is that I love God (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). I am on this journey with you and this is birthed out of obedience. I am a sinner saved by Grace.
Introducing You to HOPE on the Horizon
Grace & Peace. Welcome to Hope on the Horizon.
I am a word nerd. I LOVE words. I love how God speaks to me through words and with word pictures. Thus, I tend to be wordy. I am in a season with the Lord of trimming/pruning – refining. I am writer and teacher. For the most part – My classroom or audience if you will has always been small – to my children as a homeschool mom and with a small circle of close and trustworthy friends or in a random Bible Study. But truly – all I want my audience to be is to HIM – for He is safe and secure. Father (Abba, Yahweh, the name that cannot be said, the Name above all names); Son (Jesus – Yeshua Hamashiach, the Word, Savior, Redeemer, Emmanuel God with Us); Holy Spirit (Ruach Hokadesh, Comforter, the Breath of God).
But we are commanded in Scripture to go forth and spread the Gospel. Now more than ever – we need to know and HEAR His truth. We need to seek Him. Anxiety level are strong. I feel them at random times and they can overtake me. Fear. Dread. Worry – foes that I have combated often. Only when I run to the throne of Grace am I able to come out of it. Praying. Praising. Interceding. Seeking.
This summer – the Lord ministered that I was to step out of my comfort zone. He told me it would be like a 10 minute drive time – to get refreshed and renewed. Who doesn’t need that? I do.
